Just4U online crop CHALLENGE 4(Q&A)

crafting Q&A

lets switch things up a bit.....how about I ask you questions? (I'll be nice)

Let me know if you are willing to play along with this challenge.....I will post my question here, and you will post your answer in the comment section!

Melissa
Q: What stamping technique do you like to use over, and over again?
A: Wow i never really think that I have a technique that I use over and over, I like to play with all of the them so some days it is my markers, and embossing, distressing, it really is what I am trying to create in the end that I try to use a technique for.

Christina
Q: What time of day do you feel most creative?
A: Probably 10 - 11AM or 7 - 9 PM... both just before nap time...

Heather
Q: You love to share.....what motivates you to do so? (sorry Heather, you have kind of a tough one)
A:  Hmmm. Sort of an intangible answer...it just feels good! When I make a card for someone, I tend to have them on my mind while I create so that's a bonus. I have a stamp for the back of my cards that says "Stamped with a prayer". So, I guess making cards for others gives me a chance to "lift them up" in more ways than one.

Kellie: 2 part question
Q: We are all good at making cards.....are you good at giving them away to a lucky recipient?  And which occasion to you use the most?
A:  LOL...had to ask me THAT! I've got a whole bin of "prototypes"...I've given a couple away...(embarrassed) I was just saying to my friend on Thursday that we need to sit down & pick 1 theme to work on...I want to start with Thank You's...most would go to my awesome sitter who does sooo much more than look after Braxton!
Reply to your answer: I probably asked because I am so bad at it, make tons....send few! (very bad)

Leann: 2 part question
Q: What inspires you when your crafting.....websites, magazines, friends, classes, etc., etc., etc.?
A: My inspiration often comes from other cards (on websites or magazines or actual cards). To be VERY honest...I am not too good at making my own card ideas and often use others ideas to make my owns cards. Although...all the cards that I have submitted for these challenges 1,2,3&5 have all been from my own head.
Reply to your answer: Right on Leann, that's great(from your own head).......WTG!

Q: What inspires you the most....colors or design?
A: What draws me to a card first is often the colors...which I am lacking at my house to create with.

Well, I'm back upstairs from building cabinets. I figure I should be able to speak Swedish soon now that I can build IKEA cabinets!

As to the questions you've asked the others - I can answer those easily! My 'latest fave technique' is inlaid embossing; I'm a night owl and make most of my cards "late" in the day; and I have at long last reached the point where I can make a card and give it away without a second thought - I do like to take a photo of it though. And I'd say most of my cards are Christmas cards and birthday and sympathy cards would be a toss up for second place. :-)
