SPRING RETREAT!

WHEN
April 11th-13th
Check in Friday, anytime after 3:00 p.m.
Check out Sunday afternoon by 3:00 p.m.

COST
$85 per person

WHERE
Camp Kasota(East), Sylvan Lake Alberta

ACCOMMODATIONS
The facility is a summer church camp. The accommodations are shared cabins, cabins will be assigned by groups registered, you will bunk with your friends. You will need to bring your own towels and bedding(bunks have mattresses, no bedding). If you visit the website please note we will be using only the newer cabins.

Washrooms and showers are in a separate building(close by...only steps away).

The Hall is a separate building from the sleeping quarters. In the Hall is the crafting area, kitchen, and washrooms.

MEALS
The industrial camp kitchen is where meals are prepared by registered guests. This kitchen is FULLY equipped with pots, bowls, utensils, trays, etc., etc.. All available for our use.

Each meal will be assigned to a group of 4-5 guests, when possible the groups will be made up of those you registered with. Your group will be responsible for one meal during the weekend, the rest of the weekend you can sit back and relax and enjoy great meals. LOVE THIS part of the weekend.....being served great meals, only have to cook once! This is how the meals were prepared at the retreats I've attended at this camp, it works very well!

Sunday lunch-noon(leftovers)

SNACKS
If everyone could bring one food/snack item to share with the group that would be great……..will set up a similar snack bar!

HOT DRINK STATION
There will be a Keurig machine on site…….please bring along your favourite drinks(for your own use).

TIDBITS
Camp Kasota is a nut & alcohol free facility…..THANKS IN ADVANCE for respecting these two requests.
There is no Wifi service.
The Hall(where we craft) is spacious and very well lit(many windows and many lights).

The only schedule for the weekend is meals……the rest of the time is wide open for what ever you like to do. It can be as busy or as relaxed as you want it to be.
I hope to fill the event by word of mouth advertising, thanks in advance for sharing with your fellow crafters, family & friends.
WHY? I am hosting this weekend simply because I LOVE to get away and craft ALL weekend, be with those that share the same passion.
Any excess funds from registration fees will be donated(charity to be determined). Registration fees - weekend expenses = amount donated.
